Reiman breaks down how she and her colleagues find and tell those stories \u2014 from the core components of a \u201cTAL\u201d narrative, to the interviews, script-writing, editing, music scoring, href=\"https:\/\/niemanstoryboard.org\/2025\/07\/02\/craft-of-memoir-irvin-weathersby-jr-truth-telling-travelogue\/\">Storyboard contributor Minda Honey<\/a> is back with a new conversation about the craft of memoir, this time with Irvin Weathersby Jr., author of the book <a href=\"https:\/\/bookshop.org\/p\/books\/in-open-contempt-confronting-white-supremacy-in-art-and-public-space-irvin-weathersby\/21364422?ean=9780593299159&amp;next=t\">\u201cIn Open Contempt: Confronting White Supremacy in Art and Public Space.\u201d<\/a> Honey calls it \u201ca potent example of a travelogue that weaves in personal storytelling with history.\u201d In his writing,
